What are the clinic hours?
Our hours are by appointment, Monday – Friday from 9am – 6pm. You may schedule your appointments online, by email, or by phone. Additionally, each of our practitioners can be reached directly to answer any questions you may have about how Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine can benefit your specific issue.
How many treatments are needed?
The number of treatments needed to alleviate a disorder varies depending on the type of illness and the individual. Generally, acute diseases can be treated successfully within a few treatments. Chronic problems which have taken years to develop will not be “cured” overnight. Change over time will reflect the gradual restoration of the body’s strength and vitality.
Does acupuncture hurt?
No. Acupuncture should be a painless and relaxing experience. Our practitoners specialize in Japanese “Hari” Acupuncture, a style known to be the most gentle and pain-free of all types of acupuncture. The needles are hair-thin and are superficially inserted. Unlike more commonly employed styles of acupuncture, the sensations experienced during a Japanese Acupuncture treatment are extremely subtle and most clients simply feel a deep sense of relaxation.
