Melissa Krajeski, Licensed Acupuncturist

Melissa Krajeski holds a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine (M.S.O.M.), is board certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, and is licensed in Utah as an Acupuncturist (L.Ac.). Bringing 30 years of clinical experience to her practice, Melissa specializes in the treatment of orthopedic issues such as neck pain, shoulder pain, low back pain, knee pain, neuropathy, head injuries, as well as fertility, chronic stress, digestive problems, oncology support, and immune disorders.

Melissa is originally from O’ahu, Hawaii and San Luis Obispo, California. She made Park City her home in 2007 when founded Longevity Acupuncture Clinic with her husband, and fellow acupuncturist, Wyatt.

Melissa's career in the healing arts began as a Licensed Massage Therapist at the age of 20. She attended a residential program at Heartwood Institute in Northern California where she obtained certifications in Swedish Massage, Structural Bodywork, Zen Shiatsu, NLP, and Polarity Therapy. While at Heartwood, Melissa studied Oriental Nutrition with Paul Pitchford, author of the bestselling book Healing With Whole Foods.

Melissa's early experience as a holistic health practitioner ignited her interest in traditional medicine which led her on travels to China, Japan, Indonesia, and Thailand. She pursued studies in medical anthropology and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Cultural Anthropology from Cal Poly Humboldt. As part of her degree, she studied in Xi'an, China where had her first profound experience with acupuncture and Chinese medicine. Melissa decided to become a Doctor of Oriental medicine and returned to the U.S. to complete a 4 year Master of Science degree program in Oriental Medicine (MSOM) at Southwest Acupuncture College in Santa Fe, NM.  She became board certified in Oriental Medicine in 2007 and is currently licensed as an acupuncturist in Utah.
